1) Please type your rough draft essay about Santiago's conflict and the iPhone application you believe will solve the conflict. Hang on to your rough draft because you will turn in the rough draft and the final copy tomorrow. Here is the final checklist for your writing.

2) You have a 20-point test tomorrow on The Old Man and the Sea. The test will cover pages 70-127 when looking at the plot, as well as the vocabulary words from the story and the different types of conflict.

Remember that on Wednesday, you will turn in your final draft (and rough drafts) for your writing about Santiago, and you will have a short 20 point test based on the plot, vocabulary, and conflicts in the story.

Tonight you will have a chance to read The Tell-Tale Heart by Edgar Allan Poe. We went through how to use the interactive online version in class. The directions for how to use this are attached below.

Please print out the text version below, and use a highlighter or a pen to underline passages where you have questions, connections, and personal thoughts. Please write your ideas in the margins.
